Kyle Shanahan appearing at Stanford for Solomon Thomas, and Christian McCaffrey was interesting but John Lynch dinning with Deshone Kizer sends a clear message. The 49ers are down to one running back in Carlos Hyde. Could the plan be to draft McCaffrey, Cook, or maybe even Hunt in a later round? Could the 49ers be possibly planning to go the un-drafted free agent route? After all, running backs coach Bobby Turner can turn average backs into extremely serviceable backs.
Has the dream for a premier wide receivers such as Corey Davis, and Mike Williams pretty much hit the reality column of not possible? Or are there plenty of game changing receivers available in this class?
