Who We Are:
Founded in 2006, The Niner Empire has grown from a small gathering of dedicated fans at Candlestick Park, to the largest 49ers fan organization in the world with over 100 chapters across the globe.
We’re a diverse community united by our love for the red and gold. Our members range from lifelong fans who remember the dynasty years to new fans just discovering the joy of being part of the Faithful.
The Empire is more than just a fan club – we’re a family who share game days, travel to away games for our famous “Invasions,” and support community initiatives that make a difference.

NINER EMPIRE HISTORY
The story of how it all started.
ORIGIN OF THE NINER EMPIRE FAN MOVEMENT
The “Empire” name did not catch on until over a decade later during some of our darkest days since the dynasty era. It was around 2005 at Candlestick Park when a Diehard fan named “AJ Esperanza” started the 49er Empire. Little did he know, he had ignited the global fan movement we know today.
SERVICE AT OUR FOUNDATION
Rajeev “Raj” Prasad, is the founder of The Niner Empire Organization. A Marine Corps and entertainment industry veteran, whose dedication to service and bringing people together aligned with Esperanza's own commitment to service, which found it's place at the core of our foundation.

For the Faithful who were there at the origins recognize AJ Esperanza as the “Founder of the 49er/Niner Empire" movement. If you called him out on that, don’t be surprised by his, "I'm just a fan" response. A statement that holds true at the core of The Niner Empire Organization.
