49er Faithful UK Podcast S02E03

After a week in which the 49ers took to the (now torn up) turf for the first time at Levi’s Stadium, and then failed to trouble the scoreboard operators during their pre-season matchup against the Broncos, the gang instead focus on a major highlight of the state-of-the-art complex as they chat to Jerry Walker, former public relations director, turned team archivist, about his two-year quest to fill the new 49ers Museum and Hall of Fame with amazing artifacts, and his memories of working alongside Bill Walsh during the glory years.

Podcast – UK Faithful – S02E01

Season 2 Episode 1 of the 49er Faithful UK Podcast is now live on iTunes, Soundcloud, Podbean and Stitcher.

Following a NFL Draft that saw Trent Baalke wheeling and dealing picks to help the team finally end up with a 12-man class, the gang of Michael Anthony Thomas Brian Davis Dipak Gohil and Gary Rutledge are joined by 95.7 The Game host Damon Bruce to discuss just how successful a draft it was for the 49ers. We also chat about the trade for Stevie Johnson, Aldon Smith’s demons, the pressure on Coach Harbaugh in the upcoming season and the drafting of Michael Sam by the St. Louis Rams.

Seattle Radio Prank Calls 49er Fan

Seattle radio host Jubal Flagg, co-host of MOViN 92.5’s Brooke and Jubal In the Morning, pranked a 49ers fan by telling her she couldn’t attend the game at CenturyLink Field because of her team affiliation even though she already purchased tickets. The fan, named Courtney, understandably did not take it well, eventually threatening to strangle the host with a Colin Kaepernick jersey.

At the end of the call, Courtney demonstrated a good sense of humor about the prank, especially upon hearing that her friend, a Seahawks fan, set her up.
