FRESNO, CA. – California Congressman Jim Costa with the President of The Niner Empire of Fresno Luis FresnoEmpire Lozano and our niner sister Ms. Sandy Holt… They were there to support the Poverello House and to give back to the community… Proverello House is a private, nonprofit, nondenominational organization that serves the hungry, the homeless, and the destitute of Fresno, California. They served over 600 meals at lunch (800 meals total), gave out 400 emergency food bags and had all of the agencies listed below in attendance to share about services for those in need. The event was a first for Poverello House and now plan to have many more community outreach events like this in the future.

And get this, Congressman Costa is a Die-Hard 49er Fan!!! NINERS!!!
