Listen, Colin Kaepernick came to play, and he brought, Jermey Kerley, Quniton Patton, Vance McDonald and the some of the Kaepernick loved, and remembered from years ago! That Kap that used to render defenses helpless. Jimmy Ward, was in the mood to duel the Cardinals as well, and brought some players to help him as well. Eric Reid, a fired up Quinton Dial, Glen Dorsey, first round draft pick Deforest Buckner, and they said enough!!! The 49ers stopped one of the running backs that ran for 157 yards on them just a few weeks ago, and it was definitely special.
The 49ers lost this game on a last minute field goal 23-20 but it was the #49ers best efforts since week one.
Head coach Chip Kelly, and defensive coordinator Jim O’Neil need not be ashamed of this loss. The 49ers made a full performance reversal from the previous weeks play and competed from the the first to the 4th quarter vs the Arizona Cardinals, and 49ers fans are delighted.
